Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling in any course, workshop, event, or service (“Service”) provided by AL-MAQARI AL-QUR’ANIYYAH UK (“we,” “us,” “our”), or by accessing our website, platform, or materials, you (“you,” “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you are enrolling a minor (under 18), you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to enroll in our Services, unless the Service explicitly allows minors (with parental consent). For minor participants, parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their engagement and ensuring compliance with these Terms.
  • We reserve the right to refuse enrollment to any individual at our discretion, including if we reasonably believe they may disrupt the learning environment or violate these Terms.

3. Enrollment and Payment

  • To enroll in a Service, you must complete the registration process and pay the full fee (or a deposit, if applicable) by the specified deadline. Payment is processed via third-party providers (e.g., PayPal, Stripe), and we do not store your full payment details.
  • Fees are quoted in GBP and are subject to change without notice, but confirmed enrollments are guaranteed at the price paid at registration.
  • Invoices for corporate/group bookings must be paid within 30 days of issuance; failure to pay may result in canceled enrollments.

4. Service Delivery

  • Online Courses: We will provide access to course materials (e.g., videos, quizzes, forums) via our platform for the duration specified in the course description (e.g., 6 weeks from the start date, or lifetime access for select courses). Technical issues (e.g., platform outages) will be resolved promptly, and we may extend access periods to compensate for significant disruptions.
  • In-Person Workshops/Events: We will provide the Service at the scheduled date, time, and location (as stated in your confirmation email). In the event of venue changes, we will notify you at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Course Materials: Physical materials (e.g., craft kits, printed guides) are provided as part of in-person workshops and will be available at the session. Digital materials are for personal, non-commercial use only; reproduction, distribution, or resale is prohibited.

5. Conduct and Code of Conduct

  • You agree to treat instructors, staff, and fellow participants with respect. Harassment, discrimination, disruptive behavior, or violation of our anti-bullying policy will result in immediate removal from the Service without refund.
  • For online Services, you agree to:
    • Not share login credentials with third parties.
    • Not record, screenshot, or distribute live sessions without explicit permission from the instructor.
    • Comply with our platform’s terms of use (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content provided as part of our Services (e.g., lesson plans, videos, artwork, instructor-led content) is the intellectual property of AL-MAQARI AL-QUR’ANIYYAH UK or our licensors. You may not use this content for commercial purposes, modify it, or distribute it without our written permission.
  • Participant submissions (e.g., workshop projects, feedback) may be used for promotional purposes (e.g., social media, course testimonials) unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • We strive to provide accurate, up-to-date content, but we do not warrant that our Services are error-free or that they will meet your specific requirements.
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services, including but not limited to loss of income, data, or opportunity.
  • For in-person events, we are not liable for personal injury or property damage caused by third parties, accidents, or unforeseen circumstances, except where caused by our gross negligence.

8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AL-MAQARI AL-QUR’ANIYYAH UK, its instructors, staff, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of our Services, or your conduct during a Service.

9. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our Services shall be resolved through negotiation; if unresolved, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal requirements, or industry standards. The revised Terms will be posted on our website with an updated “Effective Date.” Your continued use of our Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
